Concrete Construction & Repair

In a commercial parking lot, concrete is the framework that holds everything together. From sidewalks for pedestrian safety to curbs that manage storm water, failing concrete is a major liability. For 28 years, we have provided the specialized concrete services needed to maintain the structural integrity and ADA compliance of North Florida's commercial assets.

Our goal is simple: maximize the life of your pavement with safe, reliable function.

Comprehensive Concrete Solutions

Sidewalk Restoration & Trip-Hazard Removal: We repair and replace heaved or cracked sidewalk panels to eliminate liability and ensure a smooth, compliant path of travel for your tenants.
Curb & Gutter Repair: Broken curbs aren't just an eyesore; they allow water to undermine your asphalt. We reconstruct damaged curbing to restore proper drainage and protect your lot's perimeter.
Drainage Structures & Flumes: We specialize in the concrete transitions that move water off your pavement and into the storm system, preventing the standing water that destroys asphalt.
New Transitions & Dumpster Pads: We pour high-strength, reinforced concrete pads designed to withstand the heavy point-loads of waste management trucks. We build strictly to City and County specifications, including required internal wire mesh and rear bollards to ensure your installation is code-compliant and your enclosure walls are protected from impact.

Beyond Repair: New Concrete Installation

While we are specialists in restoration, we aren't strictly a "patch" crew. When your property needs a structural upgrade or a fresh layout, we provide full-scale concrete installation designed to handle heavy traffic and Florida's unique soil conditions.

Sidewalks & Walkways: From ADA-compliant replacements to entirely new pedestrian paths, we pour high-strength concrete finished to match your existing aesthetic.
Curbs & Gutters: Whether it's replacing a section crushed by delivery trucks or installing new curbing to manage water runoff, we ensure the elevations are shot correctly for proper drainage.
Dumpster Pads & Loading Zones: We don't just pour standard mix; for high-stress areas, we use reinforced, high-PSI concrete that won't sink or shatter under the weight of a sanitation truck.

Our Policy: If a repair is the most cost-effective move, we'll tell you. But if your infrastructure is too far gone, we have the equipment and the 40 years of experience to tear it out and pour it back right.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the "Trip Hazard" threshold for ADA compliance?
In the commercial world, an ADA violation is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Property managers need to know exactly when a crack becomes a legal liability. According to ADA standards, any vertical separation of 1/4 inch or more is considered a trip hazard and must be addressed. We use an Industrial Epoxy Mortar to create a feathered, broom-finished transition rather than grinding the concrete down. Grinding removes the surface texture and changes a trip hazard into a dangerous slip hazard when wet. Our method ensures the repair stays as slip-resistant as the rest of your walkway.
Why is it important to repair broken curbs immediately?
Curbs are the "dams" of your parking lot. When a curb is breached, water seeps into the limestone sub-base of the adjacent asphalt. This leads to edge-cracking and potholes that cost significantly more to repair than the original curb fix.
What is the "Cure Time" for commercial concrete repairs?
For foot traffic, sidewalks are typically ready within 24 hours. For vehicle-heavy areas like curbs or dumpster pads, we utilize high-early-strength mixes but generally recommend 5 to 7 days before heavy equipment access to ensure the concrete reaches its design strength.
